August Mood Board and To Do List

This year is going by too damn quickly. It’s already August and I still feel like it should be April. I arrived in Portugal earlier this morning and am already heading back south with my parents (follow along on Instagram and Snapchat for more updates). I feel like 2016 has been a blob and we’ve been commuting ever since the beginning. Our lives are in such a transitional state that it feels good to be back home and relax for a little bit. Mainly get away and focus on what’s important and not.

When you’re in such a constant state of anxiety, it’s difficult to put things into perspective and see the bigger picture. You tend to freak out at the smallest things when they probably don’t even matter. I haven’t been sleeping, eating or exercising well and that’s taking a toll on me. On the other hand, we had an amazing feedback from Friday’s post and are so excited to share with your the upcoming stages of moving out and in a new apartment. Unfortunately it’s going to take some time with all that’s going to happen in September but that’s for another post.

To feel more level headed, I wrote down a to do list I want to scratch off while the month progresses. As we reach the end of summer, it’s important to be prepared for the upcoming season. As soon as I’m back in New York it’s going to be non-stop until October and baby needs to get some time off before the storm.

daily walks with my dogs.

everyday runs.

organize our move out and in.

prepare a calendar for September.

enjoy the beach.

social media break on the weekends.

spend time with family and friends.

organize a few dinner parties.

go on a getaway weekend with either friends or my parents.

I’m still going to be posting every day here and over here. And you can always follow me on Instagram (eduardamsl) and Snapchat (@daduxa) for more on-the-clock updates.

Have a great week!
