Yesterday we went to Manhattan to browse through schools for me. I’m thinking about taking a 4 to 5 month course to network and start to know people in the design area. While we were at it, we went to see Soho and walked around the vast variety of home decor stores. When we arrived at MUJI, M. told me that we got the apartment! He already knew, since they called him earlier that morning, but was waiting to surprise me. We had to apply last week and got the news yesterday. I was very excited since it’s another conquest in New York and now I have an even better excuse to spend my next two weeks at IKEA, West Elm, Pottery Barn, MUJI, choosing every little detail for our new apartment.
